CND is the Barudan FMC (Floppy Magnetic Card) embroidery format. It was developed for Barudan's older floppy-disk based machines and remains in use for legacy machine compatibility.

How to Open .CND Files

Color Information

CND uses color change markers. Thread assignment is manual.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is CND the same as DSB?
No — CND and DSB are both Barudan formats but for different machine generations. DSB is for newer Barudan machines; CND is for older FMC-series machines.
