Ordering
Do I need an account to order?
No. You can order as a guest: upload your design, choose your options and pay. We email you a link to track your order, and your finished files are emailed to you too. If you'd like all your orders in one place, you can create a free account instead.
How do I place an order?
Go to the order page and upload your artwork. Then choose the service, your size or complexity level, the file formats you need and any extras, add instructions if you have them, and pay at the secure checkout. You can order up to 10 designs at once.
What artwork can I send you?
Most image and design files work, including PNG, JPG, PDF, AI, EPS, SVG, PSD and CDR, up to 50 MB each. You can add up to 5 files per design, such as your logo and a photo of where it goes. A clear, high-resolution image gives the best result, but a photo or sketch is fine to start from.
Pricing and payment
How much does embroidery digitizing cost?
Embroidery digitizing is priced by design size, measured on the longer side: up to 4″ is $10, up to 8″ is $25, up to 12″ is $35 and over 12″ is $40. Each size you order is priced separately. See the pricing page for common placements and extras.
How much does vector tracing cost?
Vector tracing is priced by how complex the artwork is, with one price per design whatever its size: Simple is $25, Medium is $50 and Complex is $75. The pricing page explains what each level covers.
Are there any extra charges?
Only for the extras you choose, charged once per design: rush delivery in 1–6 hours (+$10), and for embroidery digitizing, 3D puff (+$10) or applique (+$10). File formats are included in the price, so pick every format you need.
How do I pay?
Pay at our secure checkout by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Payment is encrypted and we never see or store your card details. Prices are in US dollars, and if you have a coupon code you can enter it on the order page.
Do you offer discounts for regular or bulk orders?
Yes. If you order often, ask about our VIP plans, with discounted per-design rates and priority turnaround. Contact us to talk it through.
Turnaround and delivery
How fast will I get my files?
Standard delivery takes 6–24 hours. If you need it sooner, add rush delivery for +$10 and your design is delivered in 1–6 hours, depending on its size and detail. Turnaround starts once we have your artwork and order details.
How will I receive my files?
Your finished files are emailed to you and are also available on your order page. If you order as a guest, we email you a link to that page, so you don't need an account.
Do you work with customers outside the United States?
Yes. We work online with customers worldwide: you can order from anywhere and receive your files by email. All prices are in US dollars.
File formats and machines
Which embroidery file formats do you deliver?
We deliver DST, PES, EXP, JEF, VP3, XXX, HUS, PXF and EMB. Choose as many as you need when you order, at no extra cost. If your machine uses a format that isn't listed, type it in under "Other" on the order form.
Will the file work on my embroidery machine?
Yes. We digitize for Brother, Tajima, Janome and every major embroidery machine. As a rule of thumb, DST suits Tajima and most commercial machines, PES suits Brother and Babylock, JEF suits Janome, VP3 suits Pfaff and Husqvarna Viking, and EXP suits Melco and Bernina. Not sure? Which vector file formats do you deliver?
Vector tracing is delivered as AI, SVG, PDF, EPS, CDR, PNG and JPEG, whichever you need. Vector files are fully editable and stay sharp at any size, ready for printing and cutting.
What's the difference between embroidery digitizing and vector tracing?
Embroidery digitizing turns artwork into a stitch file, such as DST or PES, that tells an embroidery machine where to place every stitch. Vector tracing redraws an image as clean, scalable artwork, such as AI, EPS or SVG, for printing, cutting and design work. Our services page helps you choose.
Revisions, refunds and your files
Are revisions free?
Yes. If something needs adjusting, we revise the file at no extra cost until it's right. Ask for a revision within 7 days of delivery. Revisions cover your original instructions, and changes to the design or brief after work has started may cost extra.
What is your refund policy?
If we can't complete your order, you get a full refund. Once work has started, an order can't be cancelled. If you're unhappy with the quality, we revise the file first, and if the problem remains we review a refund case by case. Files are non-refundable once downloaded. Who owns the finished files?
You keep ownership of the artwork you send us. Once your order is paid, the finished files are licensed to you for your own personal and commercial embroidery use. We won't reproduce, resell or share your artwork or files without your permission, and we may show finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to when you order.
Free tools
Is the embroidery file converter really free?
Yes. Our format converter is free, with no account and no watermark. It converts files that are already digitized between 90+ embroidery formats, such as DST to PES.
What if the converter can't open my file?
Some formats, such as EMB, PXF and OFM, can only be opened by the software that made them, and some files are damaged. For those, the converter offers a conversion by our team for $2 per file: choose the formats you need and pay online.
Can the converter turn my logo into an embroidery file?
No. The converter only changes the format of files that are already digitized. Turning a logo, picture or sketch into stitches is a job for our digitizers: order embroidery digitizing and get your file in 6–24 hours.
How can I open or preview an embroidery file?
Use our free embroidery file viewer. It works in your browser, so there's no software to install.
Can I estimate the stitch count and price before I order?
